Breaking news! Effective July 1st, 2018, Florida's HB 21  regulates that all controlled substance scripts must have checkboxes with "NONACUTE PAIN" and "ACUTE PAIN EXCEPTION" so that the practitioner can indicate if the prescription is for the treatment of pain, other than acute pain. Wilmer is applying this to all Florida Rx orders effective May 1st. Know that your physicians are in compliance when you buy from Wilmer!

Updates to ARNP certifications transpired and new licenses were issued in October 2018. ARNP's (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner) will now have licenses with the new title of APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse). All CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist) will also fall under the APRN registration. For more information, review Florida HB 1337.
